I first came across Arianna’s work in some of the many magazines she has been published in over the years and immediately knew that I had to own some of her original artwork! Ho conosciuto Miss Arianna come artista tramite internet e subito colpito dalla qualità dei lavori ho deciso che valeva sicuramente i quasi 500 chilometri di strada che ci separano.

Miss Arianna è il mio punto di riferimento nel mondo del tattoo tradizionale.

Questo punto è fondamentale e merita una riflessione:
Il tatuaggio è arte e i grandi tatuatori devono cercare continuamente nuove idee e nuove ispirazioni.
Questa ricerca è difficile, piena di percorsi tortuosi e momenti oscuri, in cui
un artista non sempre riesce ad ottenere risultati appaganti. Riuscire a fare un “masterpiece”
in questi momenti richiede grande forza di volontà, esperienza e anni di lavoro su se stessi, e fà la differenza tra un grande
artista e uno eccezionale!
Inutile dire che Arianna fa solo “masterpieces”, le foto parlano a sole! Con il suo standard ai massimi livelli
è una sicurezza per ogni cliente, anche il più esigente. Sempre.

“Un campione di misura deve essere perfetto e mantenere le sue caratteristiche invariate nel tempo”. Arianna lo fa, perciò il mio mondo

“Non é molto che mi tatuo ma qualche studio l’ho girato , in Italia e non , e lo Skinwear é assolutamente uno dei miei preferiti.
Penso sia scontato parlare della bravura di Arianna, gli occhi li abbiamo tutti e sfido chiunque a parlarne male! Mi soffermerò perciò sulla persona.
Ho incontrato la prima volta Arianna un pomeriggio in studio, abbiamo parlato del lavoro che desideravo lei mi facesse ed é stata molto gentile e disponibile.
L’ho conosciuta meglio le volte seguenti mentre mi tatuava, é una persona estremamente simpatica, gentile e soprattutto con i piedi per terra.
Do molta importanza al rapporto che si instaura fra me e chi sta dall’altra parte dell’ago e con lei il riscontro é stato assolutamente positivo, se poi vogliamo parlare della qualità dei suoi lavori inutile dire che Arianna é diventata subito una dei miei tatuatori di fiducia!
Non posso certo omettere due parole sullo studio, pulito, luminoso, accogliente e, a gusto personale, tappezzato di bellissimi flash nei quali perdersi durante le brevi attese pre-seduta.
E lo staff? Tutte persone umili e gentili, a partire dalla Michi disponibilissima nel consigliare i clienti, Andrea molto professionale e sempre pronto a scambiare una battuta con il cliente sempre restando nel pieno rispetto dell’interlocutore e Mauro che non manca mai di sorridere e salutare nonostante io non abbia rapporti con lui.
Per concludere sono contento di aver conosciuto un’artista così brava ed una persona così bella come Arianna e di frequentare un ambiente dove non manca mai il sorriso e la sensazione di interesse nel confronto del cliente com’é lo Skinwear!

Ho conosciuto Miss Arianna durante la Tattoo Convention di Milano del 2008, un’artista della quale fino ad allora avevo solo potuto ammirare le opere tramite le riviste del settore ed internet. Quello che mi ha sempre colpito dei suoi lavori e che tutt’ora mi colpisce sono la pulizia delle linee e la stesura del colore, grande caratteristica che la distingue da molti altri tatuatori.
Sempre nel 2008 sono stato invitato da lei a lavorare come guest presso il suo studio, lo Skinwear. Uno studio meraviglioso, che io reputo il più bello e funzionale fino ad ora visto, molto grande, e che vanta oltre all’impeccabile rispetto delle norme igienico/sanitarie, anche il fatto che ogni tatuatore abbia la sua stanza da lavoro, la sua musica e tutto quello che gli serve per sentirsi a suo agio e lavorare serenamente.
Lavorare con lei e con tutto lo staff è meraviglioso!!! C’è grande affiatamento e tra un tatuaggio ed una battuta senza accorgersene si arriva a fine giornata. Tutt’ora continuiamo a collaborare periodicamente ed ogni volta è una carica di emozione. Ho appreso molto da Miss Arianna, dalla tecnica del tatuaggio alla pulizia più accurata.
Da queste collaborazioni è nata una forte amicizia, che ci lega ormai da tempo. Oltre ad una grande artista Miss Arianna è una persona unica, forte di una grande sensibilità, dolcezza, piena di valori ma anche molto determinata. Una grande amica della quale non posso fare a meno.
Al suo fianco lavorano Andrea Alberghini (piercer), Mauro Tampieri (tatuatore) e Michela Zanni (shop girl), anche loro grandi professionisti e grandi amici.

When I first saw Miss Arianna’s work I fell in love with it. I have never seen such perfect work and amazing designs. So, of course I had to have have her artwork on me. For my 30th birthday I traveled to Italy with a friend to see her. I worked with her to determine placement and size but didn’t know what she would draw up for me. When I saw her drawing of my tattoo, I fell in love with it and was so excited I had traveled from the US for it. Se devo esprimere Miss Arianna e lo Skinwear in parole dico:professionalita’,competenza,passione e familiarita’.

Appena entri dalla porta ti rendi conto che entri in un ambiente familiare,dove tutto lo staff e’ affiatato,qualcosa che va oltre il semplice rapporto di lavoro.
Salta subito all’ occhio la cura e la pulizia degli ambienti,danno sicurezza e trasparenza rispetto ai metodi di sterilizzazione e di un’ ambiente pulito.
Con miss arianna la cosa che si nota e’ la competenza,non fa cose a caso pur di soddisfare il cliente,ha il pregio di avere un approccio ” artistico” nel senso che cerca di trovare in ogni soggetto la particolarita’ per renderlo unico,e che si adatti al contesto di dove verra’ tatuato.
Dei suoi lavori mi piace la continua ricerca di nuove soluzioni e trovare un suo stile personale,la capacita’ di saper eseguire soggetti non convenzionali pero’ di saperli adattare allo stile traditional.
Tattoo dopo tattoo si viene a creare un rapporto di stima personale e simpatia,che comunque penso sia fondamentale per chi magari vuole “collezionare piu’ di un tattoo,tale percui ogni volta che torno e’ sempre meglio dell’ ultima volta,trovando un’ ambiente sempre piu’ familiare!

Set in the historical surroundings of Rimini town centre, Miss Arianna’s studio is decorated with wall to wall artwork that pays homage to Italy’s tattoo art and culture secene, a good reason alone to visit the place. Their office doubles up as an amazing archive of past tattoos and essentially a place for people to draw inspiration for future tattoos. Arianna and Andy are a formidable team, always well organised and very accomodating. Their workspace is a true testament to Arianna’s hardwork and artistic interpretation. What I came away with was more than just a tattoo, it was a piece of art and an unforgettable experience.
I very much look forward to my next visit, which will hopefully be soon!

I was told that the people of Rimini are known for their friendliness and hospitality and after getting tattooed by Miss Arianna at her shop Skinwear, I don’t doubt it for a second. After chancing upon her work, I decided to go to her for my first big piece. Much correspondance was passed between Andy (another member of the Skinwear team) and I, with loads of patience on his part I relayed my thoughts and ideas on the piece to which I wanted Arianna to add her unique touch. I arrived in Rimini a few months later and made my way to the shop. Nestled away on a quiet street in Rimini’s historic district…the shop is perfectly placed to complement Miss Arianna’s neo-traditional style by melding her unique traditional motifs with an updated and extraordinary use of colour.
The passion and tastes of Miss Arianna and her colleagues is plastered on the walls with an enormous collection of incredible flash (including a number of her own flash sets) as well as a collection of various tattoo memorabilia.
I was blown away by the design she showed me…her neo-traditional take on my ideas was better than I ever could have imagined and after she had finished her unparallelled use of colour, I was literally speechless. The experience itself was an absolute pleasure. Getting tattooed by Miss Arianna has become a passion in itself.
Miss Arianna’s (and every single member of Skinwear’s) love of her/their craft and passion comes through every step of the way: from her attention to preparation and hygiene, her designs and use of colour, the feel and vibe of the studio with its individual rooms where the personality of the artist comes through and the pieces take shape, and finally the follow-ups and friendships which come after the tattoo is done. Skinwear is much more than a business – as corny as it sounds, the whole experience was more like being tattooed by a friend of years rather than someone I had just met. I cannot recommend Skinwear and Miss Arianna enough. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences (getting tattooed or otherwise) of my life!

I visited Skinwear Tattoo in January 2010 after speaking with Arianna for some time, After years of searching for an amazing tattoo artists to tattoo my back, Arianna’s work and style was perfect as I love traditional tattoos. From the moment we arrived Arianna, Andy and all the staff at Skinwear were awesome! So welcoming and professional, the studio itself is amazing, set in a gothic style building on the ground floor there is always someone to meet and greet you with a smile. The studio was really cool, completely unexpected from the outer appearance, really retro with red and pink walls with added skulls and crossbones! During our few days there I couldn’t have thanked Arianna and Andy enough for being so wonderful, the tattoo sessions were brilliant, and well, the tattoos speak for themselves, Arianna is still my favourite tattooist, the experience of traveling to Rimini specifically for my tattoo is something that will stay with me forever. On the last evening of my trip Andy and Arianna drove me and Dani out to San Marino for dinner, completely unexpected, but the sweetest gesture. If you ever have the fortune to visit Rimini, or Skinwear for a tattoo, then you won’t regret it, it’s a beautiful town and you’re guranteed to want to return, if not for the town, then to see Arianna and Andy again! Amazing people! x
